Investment Centers of America (ICA) is

still run by the North Dakota family that founded it in 1986. ICA is not a Wall Street firm; rather, ICA is defined by its Upper Midwest values. Its corporate offices are located in Bismarck, and our logo is a bison! Despite our rural origins, ICA has arrangements with many of the biggest insurance and investment company names in the world. Its human, technological and capital resources have created a growing, profitable firm.

Greg Hight, the ICA representative located at Deerwood Bank, graduated from Auburn University and earned graduate degrees from Drake University and St. Cloud State University.

In graduate school, he surmised it is one thing to do and say what others teach about investments. It is something altogether different to take an active role in helping develop thought and practice. For financial professionals, Greg has authored articles about applications of accounting, financial mathematics, statistical methods and certain algorithms to practical investment problems. Articles have appeared in Barron’s (Dow Jones, New York), the Journal of Financial Planning (Denver, CO), a publication of the Financial Times (London), and others.

Using these experiences, Greg seeks the very best solutions for his clients, often drawing from academic approaches to long-term investing.
